An energy audit is a study in which an energy consumption analysis is performed, and then it is determined what changes and improvements need to be made to decrease the energy consumption and operating costs. Also, it is estimated to what extend these changes and improvements are profitable.
The energy audit is in accordance with the requirements specified in “The Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 10 August 2012 on the Detailed Scope and the Method of Preparing a Power Effectiveness Audit, the Template of an Energy Efficiency Audit Sheet, and the Methods of Calculating Energy Savings”, which was amended by “The Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Development of 3 September 2015 amending the Regulation on the Detailed Scope and Forms of an Energy Audit and Parts of a Repair Audit, the Template of an Audit Sheet, and the Evaluation Algorithm for the Profitability of a Thermo-modernization Project”.
